I Like Mike

Why do I Like Mike?

Read here & find out. I'm not your traditional Christian, or your traditional Republican. I'm a divorce attorney in NJ who loves the Law of Attraction, Dr. Wayne Dyer's works, Marianne Williamson, shivers at the thought of hunting, and believes gay marriage and abortion should both be legal. My heart is more focused on helping people than on making money.

And, I am absolutely voting for Mike Huckabee!

Why? Because Mike stands for basic truths that I hold dear about America - about what it means to be an American, what makes America greats, and what America represents. I have always been deeply passionate about America - its history and its essential truths. I've just usually focused on history rather than current affairs. This is the first time I've EVER been passionate about a presidential candidate - and I'm over 40 years old.

I also am a fiscal conservative. I believe in accepting responsibility for the risks you take, rather than finding someone to sue because the risk/reward didn't turn out how you wanted it to. I believe that "helping" people means a hand-up not a hand-out. I believe our culture, our rules, and our systems should be about rewarding productivity, and discouraging laziness or abuse of "the system." The ONLY candidate who has the whole picture about how fiscal conservatism intersects with the founding truths of our country and with government and with the continued improvement of the lives of Americans is Mike Huckabee.

When did I first start to see America lose its grip on its core values as it relates to the President? When the New York Times started referring to the President as "Mr. Clinton." Utterly disgusting.
